The Edelbrock Victor Jr. Sportsman 2V #2901 intake manifold is a dedicated design for the 2V racer and provides outstanding performance from 3500 to 7000 rpm. The runners are sized especially for 2V racing engines for the ultimate combination of torque and horsepower with better fuel distribution. An extra tall carburetor pad eliminates the need for spacers, and rear water outlets allow for a four corner coolant flow path if desired. It features dual distributor clamp locations, and port exits are sized to match cast iron Chevrolet Bowtie heads. Manifold accept standard restrictor plates and carb adapters. The Edelbrock Victor Jr. Sportsman 2V #2901 is a single-plane, high-rise intake designed for maximum race-winning power at higher engine speeds. Installation Notes:
• Recommended intake gasket: Edelbrock #7217 or Fel-Pro #1206
• Carburetor pad height: 5.98"
• Use RTV sealant to properly seal end seals, such as Edelbrock High Temp Silicone sealant #1076, DO NOT USE END SEALS GASKETS.
• Hardened washers Must be used with intake bolts to ensure proper torque and prevent galling of the aluminum.
• Each intake runner should be matched to the cylinder head port size or Fel-Pro gasket #1206 on all four sides of runner exit.
• Manifold comes with special carb gasket matching plenum flange.
