Victor Glidden 15-18 Degree Spider Intake Manifold Small-Block Chevy

The Edelbrock Victor Glidden Spider #2858 intake manifold is intended for 375 c.i. and up high output drag race engines, this manifold was developed in conjunction with noted drag racer Billy Glidden and is specifically designed to complement the flow characteristics of fully ported 18-degree and 15-degree cylinder heads. It features a 4500 series carb flange, and the dividers are pulled back to increase plenum size and shorten the runners for improved high rpm performance. The runners are wider at the plenum, producing approximately 3.6 square inches area at the opening. Installation Notes:
• Recommended intake gasket: Edelbrock #7218 or Fel-Pro #1282 (spider and manifold), #1254 (base)
• Must be used with Edelbrock base plate #2992
• Carb pad height: 7.03”
• Port exit dimensions: 1.21”x 2.04”
• Dominator carb flange
• Use RTV sealant to properly seal end seals, such as Edelbrock High Temp Silicone sealant #1076, DO NOT USE END SEALS GASKETS.
• Hardened washers Must be used with intake bolts to ensure proper torque and prevent galling of the aluminum.
• Sealant must be used on intake bolt threads if the threads extend into lifter valley or coolant passage.
