The Edelbrock Slingshot intake manifold part # 1103 is a direct reproduction of the original version designed by Vic Edelbrock Sr. in 1938. The Slingshot is a real show stopper and performs as good as it looks. The Edelbrock Slingshot intake manifold part # 1103 will fit Ford and Mercury engines made from 1938 to 1948 utilizing 94 or 97 2-bbl three bolt flange carburetors. Included with the slignshot intake manifold are acorn nuts and gasket part # 8700 to mount both halves together. Unlike other flathead manifolds, the Slingshot will allow the user to retain a stock generator in the factory location. The Edelbrock Slingshot intake manifold part # 1103 also features a natural aluminum finish for a classic look. For the ultimate "Made in USA" quality, every Edelbrock intake manifold is cast and machined in the USA.
Installation Notes: • Recommended intake gasket: Edelbrock #7234 or Fel-Pro #MS2853 • Use Edelbrock linkage kit #1032 • Use Edelbrock carb stud kit #8006 • Use Edelbrock generator stud kit #8506 • Manifold height: A-7.75", B-7.75" • Port exit dimensions: 1.3" x 1.7" • Carburetor pad spacing 4 3/4" • Hardened washers Must be used with intake bolts to ensure proper torque and prevent galling of the aluminum.
