With the purchase of TCI®'s new Trans-Brake solenoid, you'll know you have state-of-the-art engineering incorporating such features as a precision-ground steel shaft with bronze bushing, a shaft-pinned nut for secure placement and unique lip seal to prevent fluid leakage while minimizing mechanical drag. The TCI® solenoid motor is only 1.025-inches long, the most compact, space-saving solenoid available. The conical-face design is able to handle higher forces than standard flat-faced solenoids with 0.180 to 0.200-inch strokes. The high-efficiency, precision wound coil maximizes the amount of copper in the allowable space for maximum force and the two-wire set-up assures a good quality ground can be established.
