Heavy Duty Flywheels and Flexplates

For Chevrolet...TCI®
flywheels are .035" thicker than stock and the starter ring is
welded to both sides of the flywheel for additional strength.
Constructed from a high tensile strength material these flywheels resist
elongation and cracking. All 168 tooth flywheels have dual GM bolt
patterns and are sized for stock 3/8"
mounting bolts and can be easily drilled for 7/16" diameter high performance torque converter applications. SFI 29.1
approved.
For Pontiac...this
aftermarket flywheel is .140" thick and built to handle even
the toughest application. SFI 29.1 approved. Constructed from A514
material and neutral balanced. 166 tooth starter ring.
For Chrysler...we
offer stock replacement heavy duty flexplates for all the popular styles
of Chrysler flexplates as well as special counter balanced flexplates
which allow you to use a neutral balance torque converter in cast crank
applications that came with a counter balanced torque converter. In
addition we offer a complete line of SFI 29.1 approved flywheels for use
in Chrysler to GM adapter applications.
For Ford...we offer OEM-style small block Ford flexplates that are constructed to exacting standards and
are SFI 29.1 approved. Built extra-thick with welds on both sides of the
ring gear. These flexplates are precision balanced and checked for
runout.
We also have a complete line of .140" thick Ford flywheels with both GM
and Ford bolt pattern. Constructed from A514 material these SFI 29.1
approved flywheels work with all Ford engine to Chevy GM TCI® adapter kits and are suitable for
Ford seven, eight, nine, and ten inch Competition converters also.
Due
to the flat design as opposed to the dished construction of stock Ford
flywheels, these flywheels will not work with stock replacement torque
converters.

These SFI Flywheels are all neutral balance units designed for internally balanced engine applications.
Adapter Flywheels only work in conjunction with TCI adapter kits. They
cannot be used as OEM replacements.

Chevrolet Flywheel Shims
These shims are an easy way to achieve optimum spacing when
installing a new flywheel on Chevrolet crankshafts. These 0.030"
shims manufactured from high quality steel, are a must when additional
clearance is required between the starter and flywheel ring gear. Works
on both automatic and standard shift flywheels with standard Chevrolet
crankshaft bolt flange and flywheel.
