Performance Torque Converters

Designed especially for classes where a functional torque converter is required. Built to maximize efficiency and reduce slippage, these TCI® converters can reduce lap times by over a tenth of a second when compared to a stock converter. Other benefits include rotating weight reduction of several pounds (all removed from outside diameter, thus improving engine braking in corners) and reduced transmission operating temperatures.

Combining 35+ years of torque converter technology and on-track testing, the engineers at TCI® selected the optimum stall speed for dirt and pavement circle track competition. This reduced stall speed torque converter incorporates heavy-duty oversized bearings for increased load capacity and less drag to deliver a product that is far superior to stock and other aftermarket converters currently available. Like every TCI® torque converter, these units feature the exclusive HDT Coating™ for improved temperature transfer and are triple tested to ensure durability and on-track performance.
